You won’t believe how a simple sauté transforms these green orbs into a “May I have more, please?” from the finickiest of diners.

Ingredients
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 pound Brussels sprouts, roots trimmed, halved
Kosher or sea salt
Freshly ground black pepper
1 tablespoon lemon juice

Instructions

Set a large sauté pan over high heat. Add oil and Brussels sprouts and season well with salt and pepper. Don’t move the pan for 5 minutes, for light browning.

Stir well and cook until lightly browned and wilted, 6-8 minutes longer. Add lemon juice and stir well.
