Preparation Method

As a general rule, allow about one pound of shrimp for every four guests at your buffet. Mound the cooked shrimp in a bowl and serve with this sauce, which brings out the shrimp’s flavor without overwhelming it.

Ingredients
3 pounds fresh or frozen shrimp
1/2 cup soy sauce
2 tablespoons minced garlic
1 teaspoon Oriental sesame oil
4 teaspoons Balsamic vinegar

Instructions

Cook the shrimp in boiling water for 2 to 3 minutes. Peel and devein, if necessary.

Mix together the soy sauce, garlic, oil, and vinegar and serve in a small bowl next to the shrimp.
