Turn up the heat with these award-winning Stuffed Jalapeños! A second-prize winner in the 2020 Old Farmer’s Almanac Recipe Contest, this appetizer is the perfect balance of spicy, creamy, and crunchy. Fresh jalapeños are filled with smooth, cheesy goodness, then topped with crispy French-fried onions for the ultimate bite. 

Whether you’re hosting game day, a party, or just craving something bold and flavorful, these stuffed jalapeños will steal the show.

Ingredients
1 package (8 ounces) cream cheese, softened
2 cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese
1 clove garlic, minced
16 jalapenos, halved and seeded
crushed french-fried onions, for topping

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a bowl, combine cream cheese, cheddar, and garlic.
  3. Fill pepper halves with cheese mixture and place on prepared baking sheet. Top with French-fried onions and bake for 15 minutes.
