The Little Pie Company uses Peeled, Thinly Sliced apples. Might taste the same but looks so much better!
Can't make it print!
I've been making this pie for almost 40 years, but I don't use the nuts. Won a blue ribbon at the county fair with it. I bake it a little bit differently. At the beginning I bake at 400 for 15 minutes, then reduce heat to 350 and bake for 25 minutes. Then put the topping on and bake for 10 minutes at 350.
