Ingredients
1 cup flour
3 teaspoons baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 cup cooked sweet potatoes, mashed
3 tablespoons shortening
1/2 cup milk

Instructions

  1. Sift dry ingredients together. 
  2. Add mashed sweet potatoes, and mix well. 
  3. Cut in shortening and gradually add enough milk to make a soft dough. 
  4. Roll dough out lightly on a floured surface to 1/3-inch thickness. 
  5. Cut with a biscuit cutter. 
  6. Place in a greased pan and bake at 425 degrees for 12-15 minutes.
