Ingredients
1 pound fresh or frozen whole green beans
1 onion, sliced thin
French dressing
crisp bacon, crumbled

Instructions

Cook beans in rapidly boiling salted water-about 10 minutes for frozen, about 15 for fresh beans. Drain the beans, and pour while still hot over onion sliced in a bowl. Moisten with plain or garlic French dressing and refrigerate for at least 2 hours, until very cold. Just before serving, sprinkle the salad with very crisp bacon bits.
