Feeling rushed in the morning? Well, no, this isn’t a breakfast pastry like the other recipes in this section, but it’s just as quick to grab—really. Surely you’ve got five minutes to mix up this delicious, healthful eye-opener.

Ingredients
2 tablespoons flaxseeds or 1/4 cup ground flaxseeds
1 cup frozen strawberries
6 dried apricots, pitted
1 banana
1 tablespoon orange zest
1-1/2 cups chilled vanilla almondmilk or dairy milk

Instructions

Place whole flaxseeds in a clean spice or coffee grinder and whir until pulverized.

Put strawberries, apricots, banana, orange zest, and almondmilk into a blender and blend until smooth. Add flaxseeds and process for 30 seconds, or until smooth. Pour into glasses and serve.
