I just made this with the 12 oz. There wasn't that much difference and I didn't affect the outcome. I left out the ginger and I added 1/2 cup of the brown sugar also. It is awesome! Thank you for the recipe.
Being diabetic the sugar and o. j. are out of the question. I've made cranberry relish using artificial sweeteners and it jelled just fine. Granted, it didn't taste as good but at least I didn't have to give up on this favorite turkey side of mine. I've also made it using a small pkg of sugar free strawberry Jello and that worked pretty well too.
For a much better tasting sauce, cook the berries in Cran-Raspberry juice, instead of orange juice. Test it and see the difference!!! Yummy in your tummy!!!
You can't get 4 cups of cranberries from a12 ounce bag. Can you please tell us which is correct?
Hi, Bella. Four cups is the correct measurement. Thanks for pointing out the discrepancy.
The recipe calls for 1 12-oz bag of cranberries. The instructions say to add 4 cups cranberries. Which is it?
