Possible volcanic winter, bunkers are useless, Boeing has proposes the global solution!
REGULAR drills & Earth lasers' plasma shield not only can repel space electricity that provenly stimulates magma (Ebisuzaki, 2011) & dissolve storms (Univ. of Geneva), but it CAN also prevent chaos by a devastating global blackout/1300 nuclear reactors' blasting by asteroid explosion (as in Tunguska-1908 & Chelyabinsk-2013) or a solar storm hit! If u have an old house with old plumbing with a "frozen bathtub drain or pipes"; fill the tub with cold water then add about a pound of Salt; wait a few hours; the salt will melt the ice in the tub & pipes.
They also make a solution to pour down drains for RVs to prevent freezing -- as well as fixes already frozen toilets and drains as well as toilet tanks and which won't harm metal pipes or PVC and won't harm toilet, tubs, showers, or sinks. When used as preventative must be sure to add it again if run the faucet or flush the toilet. Great to have on hand most especially for night time for prevention when without heating and don't want to have to keep waking up to tend a wood stove or fireplace all night -- plus works great for already frozen pipes and drains. Just be aware that frozen pipes may have burst so upon melting the ice may experience leaks or flooding so shut off water supply and be prepared just in case.
Here in Sacramento, the power outage in peak and heatwaves sucks, must have power backup systems in place.
I keep car's gas full.....for us since most happen in winter, the car gives heat, radio for updates, plug in phone.......just need a good book and your set for hours!
Crack a window ... heater and ac are not same as vent setting so won't let fresh air in nor carbon monoxide to escape.
When living in Louisiana thank God I had a power converter in my diesel truck so I could charge phone, make a pot of coffee, make some toast, etc...You just have to watch your amps. After I did that I usually drove it for awhile.
i use e bulbs that store electricity when there is power and stay on when there is no power also woodstoves give off light and i cook on them as well as the heat they provide.
