Migraine Relief at Home: Natural Migraine Remedies
I’ve seen so many ads promising the best way to get rid of varicose veins, but it’s posts like this that actually explain the differences between each option and what to expect after treatment
When I was younger, my migraines were hormonal and terrible. Now that I'm 65 and passed all of that, they are fortunately much less frequent. I've noticed that now they most often coincide with a major drop in barometric pressure.
My wife introduced to "Peppermint Halo" a product made by Saje ( Canadian company ). It is an aroma therapy product and works really well for me. I also will, if I forgot where I put the Peppermint Halo, rub peppermint leaves around my head. After applying the peppermint sit still for a few minutes and allow yourself to breathe the fragrance in. But with both techniques be careful and keep it away from your eyes it can make you tear up more than onions.
I have used a product called "IcyHot" I put a little dab on my forehead and rub it in. In a matter of minutes my headaches become less and less. Hope this helps
Use Mg and Vit B6. Helps prevent HA'. Often recommended by Neurologists.
Niacin works wonders either alone or with other headache medications. Always buy the kind that makes you flush. Flush free does not work as well. Be ready for a major hot flash but about that time you will find headache or migraine is gone. Can be bought anywhere supplements are sold or check with your pharmacy. Most doctors will not tell you this because you do not need a prescription to get it.
"Always buy the kind that makes you flush." please forgive my ignorance, what do you mean by "flush" Thank You for any help you can give me. ;)
"Flush" is an old word that seems to have many meanings. In this case, a side effect of taking niacin. which can be purchased "over the counter" can be "flushing" or a sudden feeling of great heat in the body, like a fever and sometimes, with a reddening of the face. Like a "hot flash". It usually doesn't last long but is somewhat unpleasant. Some niacin manufacturers have figured out a way to make it "flush-less". I don't know how they do that, but it's labeled that way.
