We've occasionally had a skunk under our deck. Using dish gloves, I soaked rags in ammonia, and placed them at the entrance she was using to go under the deck. This worked! Make sure you leave them an exit.
Look for a product called "Skunk Out." It works great. All three of my long haired Pomeranians got blasted at midnight ... no stores open and all I had was tomato soup and ketchup and tomatoes don't work even though people say that it does. Also, do not bring your skunked animal into the house since it will skunk up the inside. Try cleaning the pet outside as best as you can. Some pet stores will deskunk for you but it can be costly.
I have a skunk underneath my house. I don’t care what we do it still digs under I have a hole about 3 ft x 3 ft. I have screwed plywood to the house but it still digs under. I have thought about pouring concrete on ground but we may need to get under the house to work on pipes or something. Any suggestions?
Castor oil!
I ousted a family of skunks from under my trailer with cheap perfume. They moved to burrow under my shed, which was fine, I liked them and they got along with my cats.
I have found that spraying water on visible skunks may keep them away for several days/nights. I feed birds and the skunks have started coming for seed, OR bugs that may eating the seed. When I go out with the dog around 9:30PM, I often find skunks. I have started spraying the area of ingress/egress also, even when no skunks are present. I believe the wet ground/weeds keep skunks at bay, also.
My 5 year old male tabby and the skunk must have literally came around the corner of my house at the exact same time. He must have only been inches away because he couldn’t open his eyes. They were watering badly, he was drooling, foaming from the mouth and the oil slick on his head was so thick. It’s the most pungent thing I’ve ever smelled in my entire life. We think it’s the nastiest smell ever just driving down the street. We took him to the vet hospital, they checked his eyes gave us drops and a shampoo.

Try spraying the skin, clothes and fur with Unscented Febreze and see what you think. It must be the unscented version of brand name Febreze. This product has done wonders.
Had a family of skunks take shelter from the winter under my house (no basement). They were so noisy that they would make the dogs bark. That, in turn, made the skunks defensive and odoriferous. Many a 4am I’d have to open windows and doors. I guess we were too noisy for them, they moved on in early spring. Skunks have several nests. This one got sealed off after they left.
