Spiced Nuts are a sweet, crunchy snack coated in warm cinnamon and spice, perfect for holiday gatherings, gifting, or everyday snacking. Walnuts and pecans are tossed in a lightly sweetened egg white mixture, then baked low and slow until crisp and caramelized.

Fragrant with cinnamon, cloves, nutmeg, and allspice, these nuts fill the kitchen with cozy aroma and deliver the perfect balance of sweet, salty, and spiced flavor.

Ingredients
1 egg white
1 tablespoon cold water
1 cup sugar
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon each ground cinnamon, cloves, allspice, nutmeg, and mace
2 cups walnut halves (or other nut of preference)
2 cups pecan halves (or other nut of preference)

Instructions

Preheat oven to 250°F. Beat the egg white with the cold water. Sift the sugar and spices into the egg mixture, then toss nuts to coat. Spread nuts onto oiled baking sheets and bake for at least 1 hour. Cool, then turn nuts onto waxed paper, spreading them out to dry separately. Store in glass jars.
