Peanut Butter and Jelly Bars

A classic combination kids love, these Peanut Butter and Jelly Bars are easy to make and perfect for an afternoon snack. Bake them with your family for an activity! Feel free to substitute your favorite flavor of jam or jelly.

Ingredients
1/2 cup smooth peanut butter
7 tablespoons margarine, softened
1 cup packed brown sugar
1-1/4 cups flour
1-1/4 cups quick-cooking oats
3/4 cup all-fruit variety strawberry jam

Instructions

Cream peanut butter, margarine, and sugar until light and fluffy. Add flour and oats and mix well. Press half of the mixture into an 8x8-inch baking pan. Gently spread jam over mixture. Layer remaining oat mixture over jam and press lightly. Bake at 300 degrees F for about 40 minutes.
