3 to 4 pounds lean pork (boneless is preferred, but boned chops can be used)
6 cups applesauce
2 tablespoons apple pie spice
6 red-skin potatoes, halved
4 carrots, peeled and coarsely cut
2 cups white pearl onions, peeled
salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste
2 firm tart apples, peeled, cored, and thinly sliced

Assuming the "liquid" is the result of the applesauce and apples?
I am curious, the picture looks great. Prior recipes I have tried were wonderful.
It was terrible, I wasted my money. My family tasted it and pushed it away. It diffently doesn't look like the picture. Where do the juices come from? I love trying new recipes and most of them are tasty but this is a loser.
