This simple yet classic Herb Stuffing recipe incorporates onions, celery, and a variety of herbs to compliment your holiday feast. Make it ahead and store in the refrigerator or make day of, either way, you can’t go wrong with this traditional side dish. If you like, you can mix in some cooked sausage or raisins.

Ingredients
4 cups dry white breadcrumbs
1/2 cup melted butter
1/2 onion, minced
1 stalk celery, minced
1/4 cup parsley, minced
1/4 cup watercress, minced
1/2 teaspoon dried tarragon
a pinch of dried thyme or marjoram
1/2 teaspoon salt
white pepper

Instructions

Mix together lightly with a fork and stuff into a turkey. Roast the bird following your favorite turkey recipe, such as Pilgrims’ Thanksgiving Turkey!
