can lava cakes be made ahead of time and frozen? frozen after baking? frozen before baking? want to make for Christmas but want to save time. Thank You! Carole
CAN I FREEZE CHOCOLATE LAVA CAKE? You can freeze cooked chocolate molten lava cake, although I don’t recommend it. If u freeze them they lose the Lava-chocolate and are regular chocolate cakes; if u do freeze them; do not freeze choc. lava cakes for more than three months. thaw before serving;
