Changing Hydrangeas to Pink or Blue

My white hydrangea (potted) has turned green. Any ideas to turn them another color?
As mentioned above, hydrangea flowers will naturally fade and turn green. This is simply the aging process, which cannot be reversed.
POINT: Unless you are VERY conscientious about what your soil type is & maintain it, don't buy Hydrangea because of their color, as they are susceptible to change.
Very true! However, we believe that Hydrangeas are beautiful no matter what color they are.
I have moved to a home where young hydrangeas were planted and bloomed beautifully. Three years ago, landscapers cut them to the ground. Now I get leafy bushes but no flowers. The canes seem to die during the winter rather than produce new growth for buds. This is happening for the third year now. Can anything be done to revive these plants so that they again produce flowers?
We speak to why hydrangeas don’t flower on our main Hydrangea Guide: https://www.almanac.com/plant/hydrangeas
I've heard people say to push a nail or two in the ground near the bush and that will change the color of hydrangeas. I've never done it as I never had hydrangeas. But two years ago I planted climbing hydrangeas close to our newly-built pergola and am wondering what anyone thinks as to what I can use to make them grow faster! They're awfully slow growers, aren't they?
I was told copper pennies would change the color.
My great-great grandmother told me pushing the tin penny nail into the root of the peony would change its color. Never heard of the hydrangea?? Will have to try!
My mother bought me a blue hydrangea almost 10 years ago, and for many years I have gotten beautiful blue blooms from it. 3 years ago I moved to a new home. The first year it didn't bloom, which I expected. What I didn't expect is what I have gotten the last 2 years. It has blue, purple, and pink blooms! I don't know how it happened, but it did.
