- ‘Pearls of Perfume’ has a compact habit and beautiful double blooms with the characteristic orange blossom scent. It’s hardy in USDA Zones 4–9 and is easily kept at around 4 feet tall and wide.
- ‘Blizzard’ lives up to its name and is hardy down to frigid USDA Zone 3. It’s also a profuse bloomer, with a blizzard of single, four-petal white fragrant flowers in spring. This cultivar was developed in Alberta, Canada, so you know it’s cold hardy.
- ‘Minnesota Snowflake’ is a full-sized mock orange with big double blooms. It can reach 8–10 feet tall and wide and is hardy in USDA Zones 4–8.

I keep searching for propagation info. Would like to share my mom’s mock orange with my brother and sister in law. Can you help? Thanks.
Mock orange is easy to propagate, and you have a few good options:
Softwood cuttings (best method)
Take 4–6 inch cuttings in late spring or early summer from new growth. Remove lower leaves, dip in rooting hormone (optional), and plant in moist potting mix. Keep humid and in bright indirect light. Roots form in about 4–8 weeks.
Hardwood cuttings
Take dormant 6–10 inch cuttings in late fall or winter. Plant in soil outdoors or pots and keep lightly moist until spring. Slower but simple.
Layering (highest success rate)
Bend a low branch to the ground, lightly wound it, cover with soil, and leave it attached. Once rooted (about one season), cut and transplant.
Softwood cuttings or layering are usually the easiest ways to share the plant successfully.
Growing up, our house had a mock orange bush at each front corner. The scent was truly lovely, but what I remember most were the Junebugs that would infest them. I haven't seen Junebugs for years now.
I've had a mock orange in the ground for many years. Shrub looks healthy but has never bloomed! How do I get it to bloom?
I want to grow some of your plants, from where do I get them; plants or seeds. please help me.
