The charts above list the Moon’s astrological place for each day of the month. This is determined by where the Moon is located at 12:00 P.M. ET along the ecliptic. The ecliptic, simply put, is the plane of Earth’s orbit around the Sun. It’s broken up into twelve 30° sections named for the zodiac constellations that had been within them more than 2,000 years ago.
