Jamie Gibbs is the Principal of Jamie Gibbs & Associates, an Indianapolis-based interior design and landscape architecture firm with branch offices in New York City and Amsterdam. Known for creating highly personalized interiors and landscapes, the firm serves an international clientele across the United States, Europe, South America, and the Caribbean. Jamie’s work spans a wide range of architectural styles and has led to the design of six signature product collections, including The Vintage Collection for D’Kei Inc., as well as carpets, fabrics, and drapery hardware. He has also consulted for over 20 leading manufacturers in the design industry.

With over 30 years of experience as a landscape architect and interior designer, Jamie began his career as Director of Design for the State of Indiana’s Division of State Parks. He later joined Stoeppelwerth and Associates before launching his own firm in New York over three decades ago. Since then, Jamie has become a sought-after designer and author, with his work featured in The Wall Street Journal, The New York Times, House Beautiful, Forbes, Architectural Digest, and more than 45 hardcover books.

An educator and thought leader in design, Jamie served as an adjunct professor at Parsons School of Design, teaching courses on window treatments and textiles. He continues to teach through distance learning and frequently guest lectures at universities and industry events. He has spoken at conferences such as Decorex, ASID, TEFAF, NeoCon, Heimtextil, K-BIS, and The Remodeling Show.

Jamie holds degrees from Purdue and Columbia Universities, where he studied Architecture, Landscape Architecture, Horticulture, Historic Preservation, and the Decorative Arts at both the undergraduate and graduate levels.
