Winter will be warmer than normal, with the coldest periods in early and late November, from late January into early February, and in late February. Precipitation will be above normal, with the greatest threats of snow in the north from late January into early February and in late February. April and May will be warmer and wetter than normal. Summer will be hotter and drier than normal, with the hottest periods from late June into early July and from late July through late August. Watch for a tropical storm in mid-July and a hurricane in late August.
