Precipitation and snowfall will be below normal in the north and near normal south. The snowiest periods are expected to be in late February and mid- and late March. April and May temperatures will be above normal, while rainfall will be below normal across the east and above normal in the west. Summer will be hotter and drier than usual, with the hottest periods in late June and early and mid-July.
