Winter will be colder and drier than normal in the east with below-normal snowfall, while it will be warmer than normal in the west with above-normal precipitation and snowfall. The coldest periods will be in mid- and late December, early and late January, and early February, with the snowiest periods in late November and early and mid-February. April and May will be cooler than normal, with above-normal precipitation in the north, below-normal south. Summer will be cooler than normal in the east and warmer west, with the hottest periods in late June and early July. Precipitation will be above normal. September and October will be cooler than normal, with above-normal precipitation.
