The coldest periods will be in mid- and late December, early and late January, and early February, with the snowiest periods in late November and early and mid-February. April and May will be cooler than normal, with above-normal precipitation in the north, below-normal south. Summer will be cooler than normal in the east and warmer west, with the hottest periods in late June and early July. Precipitation will be above normal.
