Winter will be warmer than normal, with the coldest periods in late November, early December, and early February. Precipitation will be slightly above normal, with below-normal snowfall in the north and above-normal south. The snowiest periods will be in late January, early February, and late March. April and May look cooler and wetter than normal in the north, and warmer and drier south. Summer will be cooler and drier than usual in the north, while the south will be hotter and wetter. The hottest periods will be in mid- to late June, mid- to late July, and early to mid-August. September and October will be cooler than normal in the north but warmer south. Precipitation will be above normal.
