I have been on Mirapex for about 15 years. It works. I have increased the dosage once since then. Sometimes I need to take it earlier that normal if a passenger in a car or on a plane.
I read about ivory soap for RLS and decided to try it. I put the bar of soap at the end of my bed under the sheets. I have not been bothered by RLS while I’ve been sleeping for a week now. I’m not sure how or why it works but it does
I have found that eating to much sweets make it worse and also dairy products like milk, cheese ice cream. Best not to have these late in the evening. Helped me a lot. I have a friend has it so bad he has torn up four sets of sheets, mostly the fitted bottom one. His legs never stop moving day or night.
It has been my experience over the past 30+ years and countless patients that have suffered with RLS, that a course of Chiropractic treatment is a great option. Since Chiropractors deal with neurology, it just makes sense
Well why don't Doctors offer this treatment as I have been suffering for 50 years now & the more severe case as they start early eve now ( as they have got worse over the years ) and it has always been every night without fail. All I ever get told is that they don't have enough information to establish what causes it & there is still no cure. In the meantime people like myself who have the extreme where you sit in very hot then very cold baths , punch the legs & feet etc etc. still all these years later having to endure that awful dreadful feeling in our legs & feet which causes extreme lack of sleep, brain fog, constant tiredness, inability to concentrate and lots more as you know. I have been on pramipexole & sleepers for centuries as not being told about any other medicines or help out there . I will speak to my Dr to see yet again if she can refer me to a (neurological specialist) as it is life changing for the severe suffers if something will work long term too 🙏🏼🙏🏼
I've had RLS for years and found that most remedies (and I tried lots of them) work only for about an hour or so for me, or don't work at all. Then I discovered the cookiest remedy of all and decided what the heck, it can't hurt. And it worked. It still works consistently through the whole night. Every evening before going to bed I get in the shower and rub salt (regular table salt) on myself from waist down to my toes. Make sure the skin is wet so that the salt sticks. I wait for 2-3 minutes and washbit away. Voila!
Really well I will try this definitely but am thinking you have more of a mild to moderate case of RLS ?
I have had restless legs since I was 16. I am now 76. It seems to run in our family as my Mom and most of her sisters had it. Now it has been passed down to the next generation. My aunt found a company that has an oil or gel that really works for this ailment. It's from Nature's Inventory, a firm out in Northwest. It's called NIGHT TIME LEG CALM. I've been using it for 11 year now with great success. It's all natural and is a godsend!
I found this companies site and tried to order a bottle to try but seems it is for stores to purchase at a $75 min order. One bottle was $7.98. i would have had to order a case.
My husband was diagnosed of Parkinsons disease 2 years ago, when he was 59. He had a stooped posture, tremors, right arm does not move and also a pulsating feeling in his body. He was placed on Senemet for 8 months and then Siferol was introduced and replaced the Senemet, during this time span he was also diagnosed with dementia. He started having hallucinations, lost touch with. Suspecting it was the medication I took him off the Siferol (with the doctor’s knowledge) him on PD natural herbal formula we ordered from TREE OF LIFE HEALTH CLINIC, his symptoms totally declined over a 3 weeks use of the TREE OF LIFE HEALTH Parkinson's disease natural herbal formula. He is now almost 61 and doing very well, the disease is totally reversed! (w w w. treeoflifeherbalclinic .com)
