October Horoscope General Summary
Planet Pluto is changing direction this month. Although the planet itself never travels backwards, it appears to do so from our perspective for several months every year. This “apparent” reverse movement will be ending on October 11 this year. What happens when an outer planet changes direction is that it appears to be stationary and locked in step with us for about a week. This gives us a heavy dose of this planet’s energy. As planet Jupiter also changes direction on the 9th, we will have this influence with us as well.
- Pluto has a lot to do with deep power. It is, admittedly, a small planet, but its discovery around the same time as the invention of the atomic bomb (which was exploded with plutonium) makes it a force to be reckoned with.
- Jupiter, on the other hand, is the largest planet in our solar system and routinely expands what it touches. So look for some big happenings on our planet around and after the 11th. They could literally affect our foundations and carry some enduring manifestations.
- We have a New Moon on the 2nd at 2:49 PM (EDT). After this, energy levels should increase until the Full Moon at 7:26 AM (EDT) on the 17th.

Taurus (April 21–May 20)
