Women feel cold sooner than men ... depends upon age and health. When younger I would be cold (loved thermostat set on 72 to 74 F) and would bundle up with a coat over a sweater just to check the mail and my spouse was always hot (preferred 68 F) and didn't bother him to go out briefly to check the mail in shorts and short sleeves, but as we aged the roles completely reversed with me preferring 62 to 64 F while in shorts and a t-shirt (light long pants and sweater to get the mail) and him preferring 76 to 78 F while wearing a sweater and using a lap blanket (refused to even go out to the mail).
