Walnuts r messy but worth it if u eat,bake or use for medicinal. Almost every cancer cure from herbs use black walnuts. My son had ringworm that would not heal back n early 80's. My mother cut the green hull off an rubbed it on it till u could tell it was stained. It healed before the stain eventually wore or washed away. I've used it many times since then on my pets when they swim n our pond an picks up rash or ringworm from neighbors cats.
