I really appreciated this article. I now live in an old farmhouse surrounded by fields and woods, yet I fiercely believe Nature is as close to me on my visits to Manhattan. Yes, Central Park is wonderful to visit, but I also love vestpocket parks, dandelions in cracks in the sidewalks, geraniums in coffee cans on fire escapes. Wildness is in the City AND in us if we cultivate our Nature to respond to all around us, whether in the countryside, shore, or cityscape. Thank you, Henry Walters.
