Well…it’s much different with a greenhouse..heated in winter. I am in Pine, AZ, which is 5600’ elevation. We do get snow (hardly any in 2022 due to La Nina), but having a greenhouse allows me to get a jump start on growing! We have been growing and enjoying lettuce, chard, green onions, broccoli all winter. Growing now are same PLUS peas, spinach, bulb onions, garlic, arugula, tomatoes! Succession planting of chard, lettuce and broccoli has been supplementing our grocery runs.
