For the last couple months in the middle of the night, we (and our dogs) have woken up to a loud screeching sound coming from our pasture. Is it possible it is a barred owl? I’ve seen one over the last few years in one of the big trees in the pasture. Our dogs go nuts as do all the dogs in the area.
