I've loved Orion since I first learned to recognize this constellation in early childhood. At one point in my career, I worked an evening shift at a hospital an hour away. When I would come out to drive home at midnight, Orion stood over me during the long drive, and was visible "standing watch" over my home and yard when I arrived. I have always thought of Orion as the constellation that 'leads me home'. Loved seeing the Southern Cross in Australia, but also enjoyed seeing familiar Orion there as well.
