We love this Banana Pudding with vanilla wafers. Our version is rich and decadent but also takes almost no time to make! Serve in a casserole dish or have fun with layers and serve in individual glasses. Tastes great warm or cold.

Ingredients
4 cups milk
1 cup all-purpose flour
1/2 cup sugar
4 egg yolks
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 box (11 ounces) vanilla wafers
3 or 4 bananas, thinly sliced
whipped cream, for topping (optional)

Instructions

In a saucepan, combine milk, flour, sugar, and egg yolks. Mix until smooth. Bring slowly to a boil and cook until thick and the consistency of pudding. Stir in vanilla.

In a 2-quart casserole dish or in individual bowls, place a layer of vanilla wafers, a layer of sliced bananas, and about half of the pudding. Repeat, working quickly. Top with whipped cream, if using.
