When Does Hanukkah Start and More Facts about Chanukah
NO IT SHOWS 8.
I'm "Native American', I had the pleasure to host a Jewish family during COVID..I want to learn more.
My Father was a 1st Generation American Rabbi who grew-up in a Christian Orphanage. As I grew-up he emphasized the "Struggle" of the people to retain their Jewish faith in the face of overwhelming odds, just as he had done in the orphanage. He often recounted the day when he was accepted into college. While still in the orphanage he celebrated Chanukah even though it was not the right time of the year. He celebrated because this was the time of his personal re-dedication of his own Temple. My wife & I are both Born Again Jews who continue to celebrate the Jewish Holy Days as well as the Christian days of faith. This time of year takes on a special meaning to us similar to my Father's as we re-dedicate ourselves to G_D for HIS use & glory just before we celebrate the birth of HIS Firstborn of MANY Brethren.
How beautifully said! I think we all should celebrate both. My great grandmother was a Jew and she became a Christian. I enjoy reading about the Jewish traditions!❤️
I too have a great grandmother that was a German Jew. Her name was Lael Geiman written in my own mother's family bible😇
To all the Jewish people. Happy Chanukah. I am a born again Christian.
I like to read the history of the Jewish people because they are the chosen people of God by which He would send Jesus as the Son of a virgin, Mary of Nazareth.
I pray for the peace in Israel and Palestine.
Peace to Israel and Palestine.
Happy Chanukah.
I enjoyed your story of your time with a Jewish family during Covid19. I too am a Born Again Christian. You don’t hear that phrase enough now days. I fear we as Christians are falling short in our commission to “To go into the world and tell others about the saving power of Jesus”. Great story. Thank you for sharing.
Happy Hanukkah
amen 2 times.
