They are the watch list for endangered plants read all about them at Unitedplantsavers.org they take seven years to reproduce, and no one knows how many harvest from the same patch of ramps. Even if you only take one tenth from patch, another 20 people come before or after you to harvest. Unfortunately some harvest many more to supply an elitist group of high priced eateries in far off cities. There are seeds available to plant your own reserve and please do so. Leave the stands of severely diminished reserves alone! And may the editor please research the endangered status and NOT promote the use! They will be harvested to extinction!
