The Full Moon's Effects on Your Behavior, Mood, and Health
As a career Mariner, I finally retired with a new hobby (gardening). The Full moon effect creates the highest & lowest tides of the months. The human body is said to be 98% water. Of course the Full Moon effects humans.
Who said humans are 98 percent water ? Lol that's crazy considering an adult male is around 60 percent water ..not 98 that's for sure ..I always wonder where ppl learn weird misinfo like this but yeah many plants and fruits and veggies are higher water content than a human ..so surely these things have to change too right ? So what do cherries do during full moon? How bout grapes or cantaloupes? They made up of much more water than humans so if moon affects humans then it should drastically effect something that is 30 per rnt more water by mass than a human is
Watermelons are 92% water. How does the moon affect them? The logic has to apply to all organisms.
I have worked in a nursing home for years & yes the Full Moon Does affect people.
I worked in homes too and I don't just rely on noticing something as evidence ..I did actual tests and there was nothing to back up anything yall aresaying ..nothing at all..but I'm open to seeing the data from your tests abd experiments ..surely you did that right ? Or was noticing something good enuff ? Lol not how to do science at all people
Tim,
I came across two publications in 2013:
Dina Fine Maron, "Phased Out: Human Sleep Patterns Linked to Full Moon," Scientific American, 2013-07-25
Christian Cajochen et al., "Evidence that the Lunar Cycle Influences Human Sleep," Current Biology, Volume 23, Issue 15, pp. 1485–1488, 2013-08-05
Please let me know if there have been further studies on this topic.
Thank you!
Best Regards,
Kevin
I agree with you. I worked on a skilled nursing unit and noticed the same thing.
Noticed what exactly ? Did you do any real tests or studies or did you just casually notice something ? Or think you did ? A real test has to be backed up with controlled parameters and repeatable tests and thus results and data would show some sort of difference ..noticing something at work isn't a reliable way to actually test something and so I gotta ask..why not actually do some real tests instead of anecdotes? Always odd to me that ppl will swear by what they notice but won't pick up a pen and actually measure or document observations much less test them
