Discover Coconut Collagen Coffee—an increasingly popular coffee drink that gives you that caffeine kick with an added anti-inflammatory boost and longer-lasting energy. You only need a few seconds to blend everything together to enjoy hot or cold on ice. Learn more.

In this recipe, you add freshly brewed coffee to a blender along with a tablespoon of collagen powder, tablespoon of coconut oil, raw dates and coconut milk (or regular milk) to your blender. Blend for at least 10 seconds or until frothy. Add ground cinnamon for added sweetness.

In terms of wellness benefits: The coconut oil has anti-inflammatory powers and keeps our blood sugar more stable. Both coconut oil and collagen powder also contributes to joint, skin, and hair health and elasticity. There is some evidence that coconut oil suppresses appetite for weight loss. Dates are optional for added sweetness plus they are nature’s best natural energy source! And cinnamon has long been known to health benefits from managing blood sugar to anti-bacterial properties.

Note: You may certainly omit any ingredients if you wish. If you wish to include collagen powder: Be sure to use high-quality non-GMO grass-fed collagen as there is a lot of junk out there. Example of brands are Ancient Nutrition and Vital Proteins. Search on Amazon or Walmart for examples; even Trader Joe’s has their own brand.

Ingredients
3 cups coffee
1 cup of milk (or coconut milk)
1 tablespoon coconut oil
1 tablespoon collagen
2 to 3 dates
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
Instructions

In a blender, add the hot coffee and all the ingredients. Blend for at least 10 seconds or until smooth and frothy. For less sweetness, use 2 dates.
