One Uncle’s Unexpected Words That Have Lasted a Lifetime
My Mom said the exact same thing!!
If asked, she would try to give what was wanted to be heard. She said if your words result in a disaster you will be blamed. If it turns out okay you are almost never thanked.
My mother said almost the same thing. Most of the time, she just said "Keep your nose out of other peoples' business." I have found that to be sage advice!
Love this article. The very Best sentence is.... "I would never be so presumptuous"......... I've always said the golden rule is not to treat other people as you would like to be treated........ it's "to treat other people as 'they' would like to be treated". It's challenging but so worth it. A wonderful question to ask, the best advice ever received. Thank you.
Good advice!
