I find that the everyday regular prim roses (bought at the grocery store usually in late February/March) which are the same variety have different scents. The primroses that are golden or yellow have the loveliest scent while the other colors like red, pink, white do not seem to have a scent at all. They look particularly nice outdoors and sometimes come back even on the East Coast.
