We always think of the Big Dipper as the only nighttime pointer to Polaris. But there is a second pointer we overlook...Orion's Belt. With a little imagination it points to Polaris as well, maybe more accurately than the Big Dipper. At least it gives you a second possibility to locate Polaris in a partially obscured sky, and its never mentioned.
