Granted, heating with a woodstove does have its cozy and romantic moments. However, they're a bit messy and it's no fun having to dust the living room every day because of the ash that escapes whenever the door is opened to load wood. We avoid the icy logs and burned wrist hairs by keeping a stash of wood inside and wearing leather gloves! LOL The great part about it is the hundreds of dollars we save each month not having to use propane! Give me the rural life over the city life any day and I'll be happy to clean up that wood stove ash!
