Consider that we have 50 states that are a part of this country, and Germany is about the same size as Montana or New Mexico. Two Germanies would fit easily into Texas. While it's always embarrassing to have to admit that too many Americans make it through college without the slightest idea that Europe isn't a country or that Germany isn't somewhere in Canada, I'm also sure that there are plenty of Germans who wouldn't be able to place Montana or New Mexico on a map -- and along with Americans, they certainly would have a tough time telling anyone where the state of Tamaulipas is. (P.S. Tamaulipas is one of the states in Mexico. Can you tell me how many states there are there? Quick: is it 30 or 32? No fair using Google or Bing.)

I am not an astronomer, but just love to look at the beautiful moon in all of its phases. Thank you for sharing information about the moon!
For the June 23rd SuperMoon, could you tell me what direction exactly that I should look to?
Southeast, Northeast whatever?

Really? Smart aleck.
Thank you! It is helpful to know whether to expect it from the Northeast, East, or Southeast. Appreciate the question posed and the Almanac's response.
