Question of the Day
Why do gamblers blow on dice?
Itβs an attempt to influence lady luck in the gamblerβs favor, as is rubbing the dice with the hands or breathing on playing cards. Cardplayers and gamblers must be among the most superstitious of all people. A seasoned gambler will not cross his legs or play with a cross-eyed partner or opponent. A dropped card is a sign of very bad luck. Some gamblers wear a pin in the lapel for good luck. Some walk around the table before a game to increase their luck.
